Dave Barry has made a career out of being a "class clown." A Pulitzer
Prize-winning columnist, Dave earned the title of 'The Funniest
Man in America' from The New York Times.
As a journalist for the Miami Herald, his articles appeared in more
than 500 newspapers in the United States and abroad. He has written
a total of 25 books, two of which served as the basis for the CBS
television sitcom "Dave's World."
Dave Barry has earned renown for his outrageous observations and
chortling commentary on work, parenting, home ownership, politics,
consumer fads and other social quirks and calamities of everyday
life, often introduced with his wry disclaimer, “I am not making
