Michael Austin

Michael Austin has been connecting people with their pop culture roots for over a decade. From bringing his dream to life of watching cartoons and eating cereal with other "grown-ups" at Spoons Toons and Booze to helping create numerous experiences for lovers of nostalgia and pop culture Michael lives to bring people together and create communities online and in person. Most often seen screaming on a microphone and making a fool of himself for your entertainment, he occasionally likes to play Dungeons & Dragons and will happily talk to you about whatever nerdy stuff you’re into.

Nell Casey

Joining in a group of people belting the chorus to some NSYNC song at a Sing-Along and gushing about a divine love for He-Man on the microphone at Spoon Toons & Booze are a few of Nell’s favorite things. When she’s not reliving some piece of pop culture history at a SecretFormula show, she enjoys earnestly trying to indoctrinate friends into her cheese cult. Nell is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and the former Food Editor at Gothamist. No, she has not seen that movie.
